Welcome to The Bass Pond Campground and Cottages! Retreat to the relaxing seclusion that is tucked away here in rural East Tennessee! Drive the nearby mountain roads of Tellico Plains. Have a picnic or a hike in Gatlinburg. Bring fishing gear for Watts Bar Lake or the Little Tennessee River and have a fish fry! All this is just a short drive from our centralized location in Sweetwater, Tennessee!
Our 562 sqft Red Cottage with a fully equipped spacious kitchen, full bath with large walk-in shower, separate Bedroom with Full Bed and a 38' front porch with rocking chairs lets you soak in the pastoral country 'vibes'.
Lounge on the comfy queen sleeper sofa in front of the TV & double French doors, play some board games, or read a good book! A lovely place for a couple's romantic getaway to reconnect with your special someone!

Seven full-service RV sites. Easy pull through on level ground. All driving areas are freshly graveled.
Nightly fees include water, electricity, and sewer hookup. No moving to dump your 'black water' !
RESERVATIONS
At this time, to make a reservation, text ONLY 865-919-8850 to the owner with the requested nights stay. Check in is @ 3PM. Check out is 11AM. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. Online reservations coming soon.
Cancellations and changes can be made ONLY by calling the Owner directly @ 865-919-8850 between the hours of 11AM - 3PM @ this time. Please leave a message with your name, number & request, if no answer. We WILL return the call. At the present time, the campground office is in a private residence.
HOOKUPS
RV sites are equipped with electric water & sewer hookups.
CONNECTIVITY
WiFi and Satellite/Cable TV is not offered at this time. However, if you have a Hot Spot on your cell phone, all major cell services work well in the area. And if your RV is equipped with satellite TV, you should have great reception with a clear view of the southern sky!
MAXIMUM STAY
The maximum stay is 14 days. Special arrangements could be made under certain circumstances. Contact the owner by texting request.
ADDITIONAL FACILITIES
Pinic area available with tables. Propane stove, and 'little buddy' heater are available for rental. There are no public restrooms or public showers onsite.
VISITORS
Are permitted as long as their vehicles are parked in the designated area for visitors. Only campers vehicles can be within the campground area. Overnight visitor stays are $5 per person.
COST
Nightly fees are $35. We accept all major credit cards.
Additional Fees
Clean up fee if site left with trash/debris: $25
Cancellations on the day prior to arrival forfeit the first night’s fee. Cancellations on the day of arrival forfeit 2 nights’ fee.
PET POLICIES
In general, pets are allowed as long as they’re kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. And of course, campers should always pick up after their pet. Your card will be charged an additional pet clean up fee of 1 nights stay if you fail to do so.
ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS/INFORMATION
* Maximum occupancy per site: 1 vehicle, 4 people.
* Quiet hours: 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thanksgiving to February 28. 10PM to 8AM March through Thanksgiving Week.
* Alcoholic beverages: Permitted at campsites. Please drink responsibly & with respect to other campers.
* Generator use: Prohibited during quiet hours.
* Campfires: Allowed only within rings, following local advisories.
* Drone use: Requires written permission from the Owner or Manager on duty.
It's close enough for hiking and sightseeing in the Tellico Plains, rafting the Ocoee River, visiting the must-see Bald River Falls; or visit the Smokey Mountain Cherokee National Forest and surrounding areas of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & Nashville for day trips!
About a 10 to 40 minute drive to a town for good food. A few more minutes to the Cherohala Skyway and the "Tail of the Dragon" makes an unforgettable loop that you won't want to miss!
